A silicone polymer line post insulator mainly consists of a core rod (ECR type or FRP type), a silicone rubber housing and metal end connections. Usually, polymer line post insulators are mounted on a supporting structure such as a wood / steel mast or a tower by means of an additional base. WINNING® supplies line post insulators with FOUR core sizes for distribution line applications from 15 kV to 69 kV and FIVE form sizes for transmission line applications with different voltage levels from 69 kV to 500 kV.

Core – Made from high quality pultruded epoxy rod (ECR type).

End pieces – Ductile iron after hot-dip galvanizing according to IEC & ASTM standard.

Base – It is mainly a rigidly curved base, a flexible curved base (also known as a reinforcement base) and a flat base (steel channel), a flange base and a bolt base (for insulators under 69 kV).

Silicone rubber housing – HTV silicone rubber made from high quality raw materials.

Corona Ring – Made of high quality aluminum alloy.

Sealing – The connection between the end piece and the core rod is completely embedded in HTV silicone rubber, which avoids conventional and conventional sealing errors. (The other type is available, which uses RTV silicone sealant to seal the joint between the end piece and core rod.)
